NEW SWIMMERS - Group Assessments August 18-21

When: 8/18 - 8/21, 5:30-7 pm Where: Competition Pool at the Aquatic Center at Mylan Park Who: Swimmers 5 and up who can swim a minimum of 25 yards of rudimentary freestyle, float comfortably on their back, and swim unassisted in deep water How: Just show up! We will have CM coaches on deck ready to do assessments

Championship Meets and NEW Season

Some of our swimmers are competing this week at Southern Age Group Zone Championships (Orlando, FL), Futures Championships (Knoxville, TN) and US National Championships (Irvine, CA). Check out the updated practice schedule below. 2026-2027 season practice begin on Monday, August 24th! We will also have "free swim" sessions beginning Tuesday, August 18th. This is an informal way to visit with friends and coaches and swim some laps. These sessions will be offered Tuesday to Friday, August 18th to 21st.

Club Mountaineer Wins the 2026 West Virginia Long Course State Championships!

During the 2026 WVLSC meet from July 9th through 12th, Club Mountaineer won the Women's Championship by 277.5 points, the Men's by 28 points and the Combined by 333 points. This marked the first Men's team win in at least 17 years! We are so very proud of these swimmers! They worked hard up until the meet and then kicked it up a notch and worked harder. 💪 So many events (most swam 8-9 races, prelims and finals), so many tough races. It was just a JOY for our coaching staff to be there in support of these kiddos! Onward to Senior Summer Showdown, Age Group Zones and Futures!

Former CM Swimmer Caroline Riggs Competes at NCAA Div 1 Championships

Head Coach Renee's daughter, long-time Club Mountaineer swimmer, and current Yale Swim & Dive Junior Caroline Riggs qualified to swim the 1650 SCY Freestyle event at the NCAA Championships after placing forth in the 1650 Free with a time of 16:15.74 the Ivy League Championships. Caroline capped off her impressive Junior season by finished 28th in the 1650 Freestyle event at the NCAA Championships with a time of 16:19.33. She was the first Yale swimmer to qualify for NCAA Championships since 2022.
